Terms of use

Last updated 17 October 2026. These terms apply to dnep.co.uk, the demo, and the DNEP apps.

1. About these terms

DNEP Education ("DNEP", "we") is the trading name of DNEP Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17525679), registered office 1146 High Road, London, England, N20 0RA. Its directors are Despina Nicolaou and Erich Pohl. By using the website or the apps you agree to these terms. If you use DNEP for a school, you confirm you are allowed to do so on the school's behalf.

2. The website and the demo

Anyone may look around the website and try the demo. The demo uses a made-up school; anything you type in it stays in your own browser. Please don't enter real pupils' information in the demo.

3. School accounts

4. Price

DNEP is free for pilot schools while it launches. Pilot places are offered first come, first served, from our waiting list. Prices will be published later, and we will give schools at least 30 days' notice before any charge. A school can use one class free as a trial.

5. Fair use

Please don't:

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell the school why.

6. Who owns what

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep DNEP running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Teachers should keep their own judgement about grades and reports: DNEP's analysis supports it, it doesn't replace it. We improve DNEP over time and will tell schools in advance about changes that affect how they use it.

8. Ending

A school can stop using DNEP at any time. When it does, we give it a copy of its information if it asks within 30 days, and then delete it within 90 days (see the privacy notice).

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to a school in any year is limited to the amount the school paid us in that year, or £100 while DNEP is free.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute.
