Bring DNEP to your school
The Lesson Planner, Topic Assessment Tracker, Cover Work Builder and Exam Builder, working as one app on your school’s own Google or Microsoft accounts.
DNEP is in its pilot year (2026–27). Every plan is free for pilot schools while DNEP launches. Prices will be published later, and schools get at least 30 days’ notice before any charge (see the terms).
Choose how you start
Free trial
One teacher, trying it out
Free
- One class of your choice
- Planner, tracker and cover work for that class
- Years 7–11 (not Years 12–13)
- Your trial is private: it doesn’t sign up your school
Faculty
A head of faculty, for their department
Free during the pilot
- Every class in your subject, including Years 12–13
- The Exam Builder
- Add your teachers; they sign in with their school accounts
- Add more subjects later
School
Set up by the school’s finance manager
Free during the pilot
- Every subject DNEP offers
- The finance manager invites each head of faculty
- The finance manager never sees pupils, classes or marks
Subjects now: Maths (KS2, KS3, GCSE, Core Maths, A level, Further Maths) and Computing (KS3, GCSE). Coming soon: Science (KS3, GCSE).
How setting up works
- Sign in with your school account, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Personal accounts (Gmail, Outlook.com) can’t be used, so only your school’s staff can join it.
- Choose your plan and agree to the school agreement. The first head of faculty or finance manager to sign up claims your school’s email domain; after that, colleagues join only when they are added.
- Choose your scheme of work. Use DNEP’s ready-made schemes, upload your own (DNEP reads it into topics and sub-skills for you to check), let DNEP find it on your school’s website, or type it in.
- Add your timetable. Each teacher adds their lessons in the Lesson Planner once. The planner, the tracker and cover work all use it from then on.
- Add your classes and teachers. Pupils’ names can be pasted in. Marks you already have in the old Apps Script tracker can be moved across.
Your school’s data
- Your school is the controller of its pupils’ data; DNEP is its processor, under the data processing terms in the school agreement. See the privacy notice.
- The database and files are stored in the European Union. Pupil groups (SEND, PP …) are off unless your school turns them on, and are stored encrypted.
- Pupils don’t sign in during the pilot: teachers enter the marks.
- Heads of faculty can download all of the school’s data at any time, and delete a pupil or a class for good. If your school leaves, we delete everything within 90 days.
